YOUNG COMPOSERS LAB

Young Composers Lab is calling on high-school aged composers-(to-be). This year we are offering two recurrent online courses where you will get:

• Individual and Group Instruction by elite composers

• Study contemporary music

• Meet and be inspired by like-minded peers

• Have your pieces performed and recorded by Bergamot Quartet

• Learn how to prepare your scores to be read by professional musicians

• Improve your college application music portfolio

• Get an inside look into what studying music at an advanced level is like

Before jumping into our composition studies at Harvard, New England Conservatory, Columbia, and Guildhall School of Music (UK), we participated in various high school composition programs. As high school students we benefited greatly from opportunities such as the Composer Fellowship Program at the LA Philharmonic and the Creative Musicians Retreat at the Walden School and wish to build on our experiences to help the next generation of young composers to find their own voice.
